Welcome to An Art Apart! You may have heard of the project through my ongoing series of documentary film portraits of great artists. But now it has grown to become this Substack – a hub for inspiring art & culture with a twist – which also includes reviews, essays, and other kinds of films, too.
I will be adding new and unique material to this site a few times a week but will only send out one e-mail each week. In times like these it’s easy to be overwhelmed by too much stuff in the inbox. The e-mail will contain info and links to all the new material, and other updates as well.
The An Art Apart Substack is a ”paywalled” project, but I hope you will still consider subscribing to this flow of fun and inspiring content. $5 a month (even less with the annual subscription) is not a lot if you think about it.
I hope you enjoy the An Art Apart site and that you feel you want to support my efforts at bringing cool culture more to the fore.
