In this interview, author & editor Ruth Waytz reflects on her experiences and relationship with Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan. She discusses how LaVey was a significant cultural figure throughout her life, and how she first encountered him while working at Hustler Magazine. Their friendship deepened over time, with her frequently visiting him at his home, the Black House, where she felt a strong connection and shared aesthetic with him.
