Did you actually read all of these posts?
I know it can often be hard to keep up with this steady flow of information and inspiration on our rocky road towards Ragnarök. To make it easy for you, I’ve summed up recent offerings so you can revisit what you originally felt you wanted to read over the summer but then simply forgot about. I’ve been there, too. Happy to help.
June started out with an interview that my wife Vanessa did with me as we were producing the Anton LaVey documentary (Into the Devil’s Den, which is available in the FILMS section). It was shot in San Diego in 2018 and has me talking about my youthful Satanic interest, what it was like meeting LaVey, and many other things.
Patrick Lundborg’s excellent analysis of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, originally printed in The Fenris Wolf Journal (issue no 5), was published in two installments, and is well worth reading: Start & Finish.
An interview with Anton LaVey’s secretary Margie Bauer was added, and was originally used as source material for the LaVey film.
Two essays on August Strindberg’s relationship to the occult followed: August Strindberg and the Occult and Strindberg’s Zeitgeist.
I also wrote about how Marcus Aurelius’s Meditations is basically the first self help book.
I also wrote an appreciation of the great British artist and author John Michell.
I also published a two part lecture about my novel The Devil’s Footprint, originally presented at Morbid Anatomy. PART ONE & PART TWO.
Speaking of Morbid Anatomy: I presented a four part lecture series about Thee Temple Ov Psychick Youth (TOPY) called Psychosexual Reverberations, which also featured talks by TOPY-heads Matthew Levi Stevens, Tom Banger, and Paul Bee Hampshire. Recommended!
To celebrate my magical memoir Meetings with Remarkable Magicians, I posted Frater U:.D:.’s excellent introduction to the book.
The fifth episode of The Fenris Wolf Podcast was a joint venture with my wife Vanessa Sinclair and her Rendering Unconscious Podcast, in which we talk about current projects.
I also published one of my most popular essays, Intuition as a State of Grace.
August was then wrapped up with a lengthy essay about/appreciation of Colin Wilson, presented in two parts: One & Two.
And let’s not forget the great book reviews of this past period. I wrote about This Is Chaos, Weirdumentary, The Occult Harry Smith, A Pagan Life, and Rites & Ceremonies of South East Asia. Check out these reviews here.
So just drop everything you’re doing and start reading.
Thank you for supporting The Fenris Wolf Substack.
Vade Ultra!

I always read & watch what I can without being a paid Patron. I have spent literally thousands of dollars on art, books, merch, books, but cannot currently have recurring charges to my account. I will subscribe at some time in the future, but unable right now.
